Learning about Greece - Teacher's Guide

The Teacher’s Guide was developed for middle-school teachers planning a class fieldtrip to see the film at an IMAX theatre and offers fun activities for students.  It includes lessons that relate directly to the film with connections to curriculum and national standards and a large list of resources for additional learning.

The educational outreach for Greece: Secrets of the Past is partially funded by the National Science Foundation with the objective to provide a greater public knowledge and understanding of the science of archaeology as well as Greece’s contributions to our cultural heritage.  We hope these materials are of great value to you and extend the learning beyond the film-viewing experience!

Please contact the giant screen theatre closest to you to learn if Greece: Secrets of the Past can be screened for your special group or field trip. You can find a listing of theatres exhibiting the film under "Theatre Listings." We encourage you to download this Teacher's Guide using Adobe Acrobat software available free of charge by clicking here.
